An accreditation is the seal of approval given by independent commissions that determine the standards and guidelines for patient care that promote safety, improve outcomes and inspire hospitals to excel. We use national and international accreditation and standardization programs as a tool in our journey of providing high quality health service to all our patients.
Our hospital, dedicated to offering healthcare that is modern, scientific, up-to-date, ethical, and legal, as per its dynamic management approach, was granted the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Certificate in 2008. It transferred over to a Integrated Management System after getting the OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management System ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System and ISO 10002:2004 Customer Complaints Management System certificates in 2009.
Our Central Laboratory process Microbiology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Serology, and Genetic test requests 24/7; our Radiology Department offers Digital Mamographs, Digital X-Ray, Bone Density Measuring (Q-CT), Ultrasonograph/Doppler USG and interventional radiology 24/7 under the supervision of EQAS (Bio-rad) and UK NEQAS quality programs.
OHSAS 18001:2007 PATIENT AND STAFF SAFETY REGULATIONS
OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management System describes the elements of the activities, which affect health and safety. It aims at achieving compatibility with the relevant laws, while providing continuous improvement and measurement in the development of work environment and reaching the objectives. OHSAS 18001 OHS provides a safe and healthy work environment for the employees. OHS supports the employees of an institution in conducting planned and systematic studies about occupational health and safety to reach better competitive conditions.
ISO 9001:2015 QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATE
ISO is the International Organization for Standardization. In Turkey, product-oriented certification studies have been started by TSE (Turkish Standards Institute). The first certification for medical institutions was performed in 1996. ISO 9001 standards specify the necessary conditions for an institution to increase customer satisfaction and meet the determined standards for the quality management system.
ISO 14001:2015 ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATE
ISO 14001 is a step that was taken for protecting the natural structure and environmental characteristics. ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Standard encourages the use of technologies, which do not destroy the environment and natural resources, and raises consumer awareness and sensitivity in this respect. It also enables to eliminate products and raw materials, which are harmful to the environment.ISO 14001 Environmental Management System has been constituted to specify and evaluate the environmental impact of the services provided by our hospital and establish control over the possible harmful effects.
ISO 10002:2014 CUSTOMER SATISFACTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATE
ISO 10002:2014 provides guidance on the process of complaints handling related to products within an organization, including planning, design, operation, maintenance, and improvement. The complaints-handling process described is suitable for use as one of the processes of an overall quality management system.
